Purpose

Working with a variety of tools and techniques, I seek to capture the essence of each character and scene I create. Every brushstroke, every modeling, and every color choice is carefully selected to convey the emotion and story behind each piece. In this space, I can share more about my creative process and the tools I use to bring my creations to life.

Vision of art

In my early days , I focused on the area of volume, developing a distinctive style in clay sculpture. My works represent historical and everyday characters with a marked expressionist character. This synthesis achieves a perfect balance between the grotesque and the subtle. My approach has been deeply influenced by the drama of masters such as Jorge Errandonea, Carlos Seveso, Javier Alonso, Luis Cerminara and Paco Chikiar, as well as by the material-plastic reflection of my teacher Ernesto Aroztegui.

In my constant search to express feelings and communicate ideas through art, at the beginning of 2010 I decided to delve deeper into the language of painting.

As a teacher of fine arts, I have complemented my pictorial research, which has led me, as in sculpture, to develop my own distinctive style. My painting seeks to capture intriguing atmospheres , inspired by the work of William Turner.

The themes that predominate in my work include the gaucho, the female figure, football and everyday scenes that are both timeless and global. What might initially be perceived as simple representations, becomes a mimicry between the individual and the work, as Deleuze and Guattari would point out.

Following the words of the great Turkish photographer Ara Güler, who stated that "the meaning of life must be discovered" , I try to make my painting become a tool to accompany others in that difficult and fascinating task of searching.
